Craiova is one of the major railway centre and is connected to all other major Romanian cities, as well as local destinations, through the national Căile Ferate Române network. There are daily trains with service from Craiova to: Bucharest, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Sighișoara, Timișoara. This station is served by routes from the Bucharest, Transylvania, Banat and Constanţa and international routes from Budapest, Belgrade, Vienna, Munich and Varna.
